Wondering what to post on Twitter?
Try using some of the following ideas to help give your profile a boost and potentially increase the amount of engagement:
Try asking a Question
Simple fill in the blank questions can dramatically increase the engagement on your page as your followers don’t need to spend too long thinking of answers especially creative ones.
Another option is to give your followers a choice between two things. If they like the first choice they need to retweet it and if they like the second choice they need to favourite the tweet. This not only gives your tweet more exposure but can allow you to measure the response to the question.
Creative Photography
People like to see the products you have on offer, however people are more likely to take interest in your products if you showcase them in creative ways.
Sharing Videos and Slides
Twitter limits you to only 140 characters per tweet, however sometimes that isn’t enough. Sharing videos or even slides overcomes this issue and can help increase the engagement on your profile as people are often more interested in looking at visual content.
Reviews and Testimonials
Retweeting your patients testimonials on your profile helps build trust in your practice as new potential patients can see the positive experiences that your existing patients are having.
News
More and more people are gaining their news updates from Twitter. You should use your profile to keep your followers up to date with the latest dental related news and trending articles, as the more you are seen providing the latest news the more people view you as an important source of information.
Memes
A meme is a popular image paired with a funny phrase. They are great for sharing as people like a little humour in their Twitter stream. Believe it or not dental related memes do exist, so why not share a few on your profile and see how this improves your engagement.
