By Lucy Mander on 21st December 2017

Choose the right platform for your practice – There are a variety of social media platforms and each one has its unique purpose. In order to create a successful social media marketing strategy, choose the right platform for your practice.

Create a social media marketing plan – Creating a social media marketing plan will set you up for success and will allow you to avoid any social media mistakes.

Know your audience – Social media marketing is all about showing your patients what your practice is about as well as engaging with them. However, before you can do that, you need to know who your patient base is. Make sure that you do research to understand how to best market to those demographics.

Knowing the competition – Reviewing your competitor’s progress regularly and examining companies with both successful and failing social media campaigns will provide guidelines for improvement.

Incorporate quality content – Incorporating quality content and media into your content has been proven to generate engagement with your practice. Video is king and is a vital marketing strategy to implement.

Pay attention to your analytics – Social media analytics and metrics are important when boosting your social media marketing. Pay attention to your analytics to identify where your strengths and weaknesses lie.

Engage with your audience – In order to increase your engagement, you need to engage with your audience. Comment or likes to posts that your audience provide you show them that you acknowledge their presence.

Consider collaborations and partnerships  Partner with companies and other brands that your audience is also interested in to extend your reach.
